IMPORT DUTIES
Under US customs regulations, all orders shipping into the United States are subject to relevant import duties. As of May 2nd 2025, this duty amount applies to all orders regardless of value, and has recently increased for goods manufactured in China.
As our garments are made with care by skilled craftspeople in China, the import duties in their current state are significant, and are unfortunately too large of a cost for us to absorb.
These duties, implemented by the US Government, are not included in the product price but will appear as a separate line at checkout to ensure transparency over what is being paid directly to the US Government as import fees.
Relevant state taxes (based on the US state listed on the shipping address) will also be applied at checkout on applicable orders.
All import duties and taxes are non refundable.

US CUSTOMS CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Due to new US Government requirements, US customers may be required to share additional information with the shipping carrier (DHL) such as their Social Security Number (SSN) in order to clear their goods for delivery. This information won't be shared with us, but will be included on the customs declaration between DHL and the US Government.
Please be mindful of this when providing a US delivery address, as the order will be returned to sender if this information isn't able to be provided. If an SSN is not provided to DHL when requested, your shipment will not be cleared at customs and will be returned to sender. We acknowledge that this is really frustrating for some customers, but this is a regulation imposed by the US government that we need to adhere to.
As a Company, we will always adhere to the laws of the countries in which we operate. We understand that the recent changes to US import regulations may be frustrating and we want to be as transparent as possible about what this means for you. The additional customs fees and duties and taxes now required for certain orders are mandated by US customs and go directly to the government—not to us. These changes impact all retailers importing goods into the US and while we are required to comply, we are actively working to minimise the impact on our customers wherever possible.
